I took 2011 off from showing as we had two litters, a German Pinscher litter in January, our first in two years and a Vizsla litter in August, our first in four years. I do not go to shows when I have young puppies in the house, but I will be in the ring in 2012 with some of the puppies from each of these litters! See you then!

I am sorry but due to technical difficulty I am unable to update this page to the end of the year.
The 2010 show season has come to an end for us. This is by far the most memorable show year I have ever had!
I want to take a moment her to thank the people who helped to make it happen. Howard and Von Walker, owners of Grand Champion Diamondmines 24 Caret Gold for giving up precious time with Lily so I could have the opportunity to show her to TWO Best In Specialty Show Wins, THREE Sporting Group Ones, an Award Of Merit at her National Specialty, Best of Opposite at the Westminster Dog Show amoung so many other Best of Breed wins and Group Placements. They are moments in time I will cherish forever. Emily Brooks and Gigi Walker, two junior handlers who gave me so much pleasure watching them grow and improve in the Juniors show ring. These two girls showed us what good Sportsmanship is all about. Old friends who showed up ringside to lend a hand and cover dogs, Carol, Tee, and people who I just may have met 10 minutes before walking into the ring, thank you. To new friends, Linda and Rick, thanks for pitching in when and where needed. We had cookouts and sleep overs at and for the shows, dinners out and banquets to attend. Christina and Phil, and Brian and Cheryl, thank you for bringing your dogs to the shows so I could show them. A special thank you to Adam Brooks for taking photos at the shows all year long, you got some great shots! And to Michelle Brooks for having the guts to tuff it out to finish her own dog, you are on your way to finishing many more! I want to mention Emily Brooks again, thank you for helping me with running to get a dog or put one away, for going in the ring to cover even on a dog you may never have handled, and for doing a great job, and for doing with a smile! Thank you to everyone who supported us throughout 2010, we appreciate every one of you! God Bless you and your beloved dogs and may 2011 bring you everything you are hoping for!
October, November, December 2010- These past three months have been very busy for us with the shows. It all started with an Award Of Merit for Vizsla Lily at the Vizsla Club of Americas National Specialty in October up in Wisconsin, yes we went to Wisconsin! This was a special honor as there were more than 160 Champions competing at this show! From there we traveled to Wilmington, NC mid October where German Pinscher Ty won the breed and went on to win another Group placement! There were additonal Best of Breed wins for both before the month was over. Vizsla Lily started Novemeber off with multiple Best of Breed wins and a Sporting Group 2 ! GP Ty won Best of Breed several times during the month and GP Boulder picked up more points towards his championship, he is handled by his owner Michelle Brooks. The baby (2 yrs old) of the family GP Glory won an Award Of Merit at the German PInscher Club of America Supported Entry in Concord, NC and two Brutus (our big GP boy) sons both won their first Majors the same weekend in Concord, rounding out a super month of shows! We only did 3 shows in December. Glory (our 2 yr old GP) won Best of Breed 3 out of 3 days, Michelle handled GP Boulder to his AKC Championship (yeah Michelle and Boulder!) Vizsla Lily won Best of Breed, and Lily's littermate sister Vizsla Jewel took Winners on Sunday to finish out 2010 in style!
*
September 2010- It was a wonderful show month. Vizsla Lily moved up 4 spots in the breed ranking to number 8 and she remains at number 8 in all breed as well. Lily started the month off with a Group 3 and then went on to her
second Best In Specialty Show win! Lily was the ONLY Vizsla to win an honor all 4 days at the shows in New Jersey.
Thurs at Big Apple Sporting Dog show she was Best of Opposite, Friday at Tuxedo Park she was Select, Saturday at the Vizsla Club of Northern New Jersey she was Best In Specialty Show, and Sunday at Westchester she was given an Award of Merit and Select. All of this plus multiple Best of Breeds throughout the month! WOW is all I can say!
Our GP boy Ty also did very well. He remains the #2 dog in the country, #1 breeder-owner handled. Ty was
Best of Breed at every show he attended including those in New Jersey where the judges paid him the highest of compliments. GP Brutus's son Ranger won Winners Dog in Raleigh and Hailey won Winners Bitch as well. It has
been a show month to remember.
I am sorry due to technical difficulties I am unable to update this page to the end of 2010.
August 2010- As of the end of this month German Pinscher Ty, Grand Ch Diamondmines Black Ty Affair, is the Numbr 1 Breeder/Owner handled dog in the country and ranked number 2 by the AKC. GP Boulder is now only two points away from his championship, nice job Michelle. Vizsla Lily Grand Ch Diamondmines 24 Caret Gold has moved up in the rankings as well, she is now number 8 All Breed and number 12 Breed and closing in on the top 10!
We are looking forward to September which we hope will be as promising as August was!
July 2010- The month started with a Working Group 4 for Ty our German Pinscher boy, Grand Ch Diamondmines
Black Ty Affair, with several Best of Breed wins for him as well. And the month ended with a hugh win, a
BEST IS SPECIALTY SHOW for Vizsla Lily, Grand Ch Diamondmines 24 Caret Gold along with multiple other Best Of Breed wins for her! AND our youngest German Pinscher Glory, Diamondmines Black and Beautiful finished her AKC Championship, Boulder, Diamondmines Bold and Beautiful, handled by owner Michelle Brooks won both of his majors! Also Ranger, a puppy sired by our boy Brutus, Ch Diamondmines Star Studded Affair, won his first two championship points at the age of 6 months. The juniors did very well also, you can see photos of them on thier individual pages. There was so much happening in July I am certain I have forgotton something. Now we are looking forward to August.......
June 2010 - It was a quiet month overall. Both Vizsla Lily and German Pinscher Ty won Best of Breed several times during the month. GP Magic won the breed one day at months end. We did take a little time off partly due to the hot weather. We are looking forward to the July 4th holiday, the dogs love to swim in our pool, we wish everyone a safe and happy 4th!
May 2010 - Vizsla Lily has done it yet again, another Sporting Group First! Her owners Howard and Von Walker were present to cheer her on, it was very exciting for all ! Not only that but she began the month with a Group 2! In additon Lily won Best of Breed at every show she was entered in for the month. Our German Pinscher Ty won Best of Breed at every show he was entered in as well. And GP Diamondmines Bold and Beautiful, aka Boulder, was handled by his owner Michelle Brooks from the AOH class to Best of Winners at the two shows he was entered in! These special dogs are a breeders dream come true!

As we look back over these past months we realize how blessed we are to have such wonderful friends both in and out of the dog world. We also realize how blessed we are to have such wonderful dogs, and we love each and everyone of them with all our hearts.
